The best advice Lincoln ever received came from "American Pie" director J.B. Rogers. Lincoln asked Mr. Rogers, "Whats the secret to becoming a successful director and producer in Hollywood." Mr. Rogers told Lincoln, "You wanna become a producer and director, assist producers and directors." Following that advice, Lincoln soon began looking for jobs as a personal assistant. Lincoln first assistant position was for legendary 1960's and 70's director Dr. Emami from Chuck Barris Productions, and Desi Arnez Productions.
